After I get dressed I head downstairs to meet Liam. I hope he doesn't already know. It's suppose to be a secret. I see him sitting there. He turns to see me coming downstairs. He's red.
"Are you-" I get cut off.
"Who are you hiding from me?" He asks. I'm apalled.
"Where is this-"
"At the dinner table, you were talking to somebody having a pretty good time."
"It was only a friend, ca-"
"Don't tell me to calm down, and don't lie. You forget, I know when you're lying."
"You act like they're going to kill me. Can't I have friends text me?"
"Not with the way you were smiling. Do I know about him? Does he know about me?"
"Liam, you need to understand I do have a personal life."
"You didn't use to have one. Remember when we were kids? I was the only friend you had. What happened to that?"
"Someday I'm going to meet somebody, marry them, and have kids. You need to get that. This is the first time we've ever fought, and it's because of your imagination. How can you not believe me?"
"I- I- I'm ... sorry."
"It's okay Liam." I say feeling horrible. I just lied. I've never have lied. What am I doing?
-Niall's POV-
I get out of the shower and dry off. I put on my clothes and walk out. Just as I did Katy walks in. She looks sad, confused, and guilty.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"I can't lie to my brother. I lied once, and now I feel horrible. I'm a terrible little sister. We-"
"But you agreed." I can't believe it. We haven't even been together for one day, and she already is breaking up with me.
"I want to be with you, but-" She starts again.
"Then be with me."
"But I can't lie. Please understand."
"I guess, you shouldn't lie. So yeah." I say putting on a sad smile.
"I think I'll go back downstairs." She might have been with me less than one day, but I already miss her.
