"Hello?" Niall asked throught the phone.
"Hey Niall!" I said.
"Rachel!" Niall replied, excitedly.
"So Niall, I was wondering if we could go out for lunch today?" I asked him.
"Lunch... mm... oh actually that won't be possible, hun. I've got rehersal today. Woudl dinner work?" he suggested.
"Sure," I said.
"Great, they are going to a club tonight. I'll tell them I am feeling sick something. Come over at 7, ok?" he said.
"Ok! sounds good," I told him.
"I've gotta go, Liam's coming. See ya later, babe," he said.
"Bye, Niall" I said, hanging up.

Niall and I have been going out for a while now. Sine before he auditioned for the X Factor. But it's been our little secret. No one knows. Not even Liam, Louis, Harry, and Zayn. Niall goes on tour a lot, so we barely get to see each other, but whenever he's in Ireland, I make it a point to see him every chance I get. Today, the boys just arrived, and they have a show tomorrow. I know it is a bit hard for Niall to keep our relationship a secret and stay close with his mates, but he seems to be doing a great job.

- - - - - Seven O'clock - - - - -

I got onto the elevator of the Gresham hotel. Niall was on the top floor. I found my way to his door and knocked. The door swung open.
"Hello," a voice called. I looked up. Not Niall. NOT NIALL! It was Harry! What was he doing here? I thought Niall said they were going out to a club!
"Oh, um, hi," I said, not knowing how to get out of this situation. To my relief, Niall came to the door.
"Ra - I mean, hello there. Are you a fan?" he said, winking at me.
"Oh, ya! I'm a huge fan! I love you guys! Can I get a picture with you, Harry?" I asked, trying to be as convincing as I could.
"Uh, actually, I was just on my way out. Maybe you can take one with Niall, if that is ok?" he said.
Relief flooded through me. He was leaving. Great.
"Of course!" I said.
Harry stepped out. "Louis! Zayn! Liam! Are you coming or what?" he called.
Louis, Zayn, and Liam came out. They looked dazzling. But none as charming as my Niall. I watched as they disappeared into the elevator.

"Rachel, come in. Sorry about that. Zayn was taking too long with his hair, as usual." Niall said.
"It's alright. Now I see why you have thousands of girls screaming your name all the time," I said, walking in.
He laughed. "But I don't pay any attention to those girls. You are the only girl I have eyes on, Rachel" he said.
I smiled, he looked so adorable right now. "I missed you Niall!" I whined.
"I missed you too, Rachel," he said, pulling me into a close embrace.
"I love you," I told him.
"I love you more," he said, just before his lips met mine.

Just then, the door opened and Harry walked in. He gasped.
"Niall! You! What?" he said, looking from the two of us, confused.
We sprang off each other.
"Harry! What are you doing here?" Niall asked, worried at what he was going to do.
"I left my wallet here. But you two..." he said.
Louis walked in. Great. It was bad enough Harry saw the two of us. Now Louis too? This was horrible.
Niall groaned.
"Hey, who're you?" Louis asked, pointing at me.
"Hello, I'm Rachel," I said. I mean, what else was I supposed to say? 'Oh Niall and I have been dating behind your backs for a long time now!' That would just freak them out even more.
"Niall? Explain please!" Harry said.
Zayn and Liam walked in.
"Harry what's taking you - " Zayn bagan, when he spotted me.
"Aren't you the fan girl who was at our door just a few minutes ago?" Liam asked.
I nodded.
"Niall! Explain!" Harry repeated.
"Ok ok! Fine. Rachel is my girlfriend. We've been dating for a while now. I been keeping our relationship a secret. I didn't want anyone to know. I didn't want her to suffer any hate. So she's been my secret all along," he said.
I nodded, trying to support his story.
"Girlfriend? Why didn't you tell us?" Louis asked.
"I just told you. She's been my secret girlfriend. Secret," he said.
"But we've never seen her before," Zayn pointed out.
"Exactly. Secret people. secret." Niall said.
"So you were going out right now?" Liam asked.
"Yes, actually. Until you guys came," Niall grumbled. He was annoyed. I didn't blame him.
"Alright then. We'll let you two carry on. But you owe us more of an explanation later, Niall," Liam said.
Harry grabbed his wallet. "Have fun," he said, casually.
They left and Niall and I were alone again. That was awkward.
"I am so sorry, Rachel!" Niall apologized.
"Sorry for what? It wasn't your fault. And anyways, it was about time they found out. That's four less people we have to keep the secret from now, right?" said.
"I guess," he said, " Now, what do you say we go and enjoy our dinner?"
"Absolutely," I said.
