i suppose I only ever get bad luck?

I pull my heels off an walk bare foot to find Meg. I ignore Zayn and Liam's voices.

I admitt i love him and he walks away..

i find josh,
"Kat what's wrong?"
"don't. " I get a lump in my throat. "Please leave it "
i take her hand carefully and walk away out the door.

"Kat what happened?"
"Hey Kat KAT?"
I turned to see Harry running towards me.
"Are you okay? What's wrong?"

I thought tears would come..none did.

I just muttered 'Niall' he hugged me close and kissed my hea before turning and walking away.

That's all people seem to do to me these days..


(2 days later)

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNCOK*

"I'm coming!" I yell, whoever it is has been banging on the door for 20 mins!

Meg follows close behind me.
I open the door to see some women In a grey suit with a police man.
I have the door so you can just see me, I push Meg to the side out of sight.
"Hi darling are you Katherine?" He smiles kindly
"yes.."
"Is Megan here?"
"Why?"
"How about mum? Dad?"
"My dads dead. Who are you?"
"I'm Susan Kelly. From social services."
My heart drops to stomach. Shit! No they can't take my Meggy away.
"Where's your mother Katherine?" Says the man
"why?"
"Is she here sweetheart?"
"I said why?"
"were under the impression your living here alone with a 14 year old, yourself only being 17. You cannot care for a 14 year old."
"I'm almost an adult."
"Yes key word there being almost" the man said nastily
"well you've come here under false information. So sorry for the waste of time." I go to close the door when the mans foot jammed in the doorway.
"Look Katherine we know you living here alone with Megan so let us in so we can sort this out" t
"no!" I shout pushing against the door.

The mans stronger.
"You can't force yourself into my home!"
"AHH you must me Megan" the lady holds out her hand


meg hides behind me, squeezing my hand
"no I'm going to make this as easy as I can." She smiles," Megan go pack your things,"
"why?" She cries
"because your coming with me, to London."
"No way!" I shout!
"Sweetheart you need to understand it's against the law for her to be here living with you! "
"IM ALMOST 18 NEARLY AN ADULT"
"then when you turn that age you can fight for her!" The man snarls
"you can take her away" I say
"I'm afraid I have to,"
"where will she go?"
"a children's care home, then maybe a foster family."
"she's has a family!"
"Your mother has made it quite clear she wants nothing to do with you." She raises her eyebrow.
"In care children leave when there 16 so you are allowed to carry on living alone. But Megan must come with me."


And that's what they did packed her bags and dragged here away..that one thing that kept me going in life.

being torn away.

Her screaming still rings in my ears.
