Our Little Infinity
∞Introduction
(Two Months Earlier)
Harry's POV
As I sit on the soft, black couch beside Niall, the interviewer continues to ask us each questions about the holidays and all. She crosses her legs as she turns to face my direction. ‘’So, Harry. What are you looking forward to doing in the holidays and during the break?’’ She asks with a pink stained smile.
‘’I’m going home to see my family for Christmas. And I am looking forward to seeing my best friend.. she’s going to be there, and I’m excited.’’ I smile gently. ‘’How long has it been since you saw her?” She asks me curiously.
I sigh gently, trying to think of the last time I saw my long time best friend Juliet Stone, the girl I am determined to spend my life with, whether I’m her lover or her best friend. Either way, it was going to happen for sure.
‘’I think.. it was on her birthday.. which is in August.. so.. two months ago.’’ I tell her. She nods before asking Niall the same question and then the follow up questions she has. But as for me, I take out my phone because I felt it vibrate while I was talking to the interviewer.
I smile down at the screen as I see who tried to call me, five times in a roll. I open up a new message and send it to her, hoping she’ll understand. But I know she will.
Me: Hey love! :) Can’t answer your calls at the moment, in a stupid interview :(
I lock my phone and sit it on my thigh as I stare at the hardwood floor. My mind was racing, I was so ready to get home to my mom and my sister. I was ready to see Juliet. I was snapped back into reality when my phone buzzed against my leg again.
Juliet: Oh, okay :(
I read Juliet’s message. But I don’t want her to feel bad! She knows I’ll do anything for her, but its just rules I have to follow at times, like the no phone calls during interviews. But I assure her I’ll make it up to her, because I know I will, in some way.
Me: Don’t be sad! I’ll call you as soon as I get out of here! But you can keep messaging me if you’d like, babe.
Juliet was everything to me, my entire world. Our friendship was unbreakable, and no one can change that. No matter how hard they tried. I call Juliet everything. Love, babe, baby, sweetie, all that other stuff. She never cared.. and I know why.
Juliet: No, no.. its fine. :)
I met Juliet when I was six years old, she was four. I was at my childhood home, playing in the front yard with my sister, Gemma, when a taxi cab pulled into my neighbor’s, Miss Angie, yard. I was curious, being the little rascal I was at the time.
So, I forced Gemma to walk over there with me. Miss Angie was on her front lawn smiling bright as a little girl got out of the taxi cab and ran to her. I had never seen this little girl before in my life, and I probably thought at the time I’d never see her again.
Miss Angie saw me and Gemma so she introduced us to the little girl who was accompanied by her young mother at the time. She said that this was her granddaughter. I didn’t know she had any. I knew she had two children though, Juliet’s mother, Sara, and her uncle, Ben.
The summer sun was hot, and Gemma and I had an idea to play in the back yard with the water hose. So, Gemma asked if Juliet could join us, and kindly Miss Angie allowed her to. Turns out that Juliet was visiting her grandmother for the entire summer.
Juliet’s from Florida, she lived with her single mother Sara. Her father had left when she younger, she can’t remember anything about him. I’m sorta in the same boat with her on that topic. My dad was nothing to me, he didn’t want to act like a father, so I never acted like a son.
I only knew my mother as my parent. No one else. Gemma and I lived happily through out the years. My mother’s still not remarried, but that was okay with her. She always said love would come her way again, only if God allowed it to.
But back to Juliet, my favorite young memory that I shared with Juliet is when that she came for Christmas to see her grandmother. Being from Florida, and used to the rain and the hot temperatures, she had never experienced snow before.
I can still remember to this day what her little face looked like when she felt the soft, cold substance in her hands. I had told her that it was common for the winter, she just stayed in awe the entire afternoon as we played. We ended our day with some hot cocoa at my house.
But she was only seven at the time, I was nine. Every summer, and every Christmas and Ester for the rest of those years, Juliet came to visit not just her grandmother, but me too. She had promised one time when we were still very young that I’d be her best friend forever. And I promised her the same too.
As for now though, Juliet was a hairdresser, a pretty good one in fact, back in Florida. She still came to see her grandmother on the desired holidays and some times surprise visits too. But when it comes to our friendship, it was put on hold for a few years, still strong but still weak at the same time.
I had begun to live my dream, something Juliet believed in too. I swore to her that I’d never, ever forget to see her. Every break I’ve had since then was spent with her. I’d fly to Florida, or I’d get her to fly to wherever I was at the time.
And the months in between tours, she came to London and spent the time with me and my family. My mother counted Juliet as her own. Sadly though, Juliet’s mother passed away due to a horrible car accident she was in a few years back.
And it seems that since that happened, Juliet’s been.. a little different. But I can understand that though. But for now I wait, hoping this last month of touring will go by fast. Unfortunately, Juliet can’t come to London as soon as my tour’s over.
She had told me she has important things to do, including her job. She’s only had this job since January, when she got her license in cosmetology and she can’t afford to loose it. But I promised that no distance could keep me from her.
So, I have to wait until Christmas to see her again. I miss Juliet. We talk, we text, we Skype.. its just I need to see my best friend in person to be completely, one hundred percent happy. But I can wait..
But not too long.

Thanks for checking this out, I hope you like it!! I hope its going to be really good. Its got more to with friendship than drama. but you never know.... :)
