2 Weeks Later

It was the time to get the final verdict on the case that happened between Christian and I, it certainly has been a rollercoaster with this case I had to put on hold the other clients I was handling so I can get this bastard put to jail.

As the judge walked on I tried to catch my breath, I said a little prayer before the judge decided to give his final verdict of the case. “I had time to look and study both cases of the story, I have reached the final verdict for this case and Christian I sentence you to one year in prison as well as 48 hours of community service.”

When I heard that this bastard was going to go to jail Debbie gave me a huge hug her support means so much to me, coming into this court room she missed her work because of me and that means a lot. “Congratulations Mrs. Rose I hope you are happy with the decision.” James said that to me with a smirk on his face.

I looked at him in disgust and told him “if you ever try to threaten me again in my office. I will make sure to follow suit against you as well, do I make myself clear James.” His eyes lit up with intimidation I am a strong and independent women I will not let anybody bully me around especially not a man like James. Growing up I learned how to fight whenever I am right and to always count on God, that is why I am so blessed in life.

I called the school that Angel went to and I told them to let Angel out early so we can all have a celebration, I cannot wait to celebrate with Debbie and Angel the two people that mean the world to me.

Ever since Niall went back to the military we have been talking he seems to be so happy that he is back, I as a wife cannot be anymore happier for him my life is really look up for my marriage life and career life.

3 Hours Later

After eating ice cream and pizza we decided to go and visit my mom’s graveyard I feel like I want to talk to her and let her know that I am doing so well in life. I looked up in the sky before looking down in my mother’s grave she died last year on Christmas day.

I touched her grave and hugged it, “mom if you are looking down at me right now I hope that you are happy with me. All I ever want to do in this life is make you smile and happy, remember when I was younger and you said I would be something great growing up I hope I am becoming that dream for you mom. Look at angel now mom she has grown up now to become a smart and beautiful girl we all miss you dearly and I hope you and dad are happy now above, I just wanted to let you guys know today I won a very important case and I am quiet happy about it I feel like you were watching over me this whole time.”

I kissed my mother grave goodbye and headed back to the car, I saw Debbie and Angel playing and laughing together they looked so happy to be honest I couldn’t be anymore happier in my life. I have my beautiful daughter, supportive husband and my warrior aunt that I love so much life is pretty good thank you God.
