Beautifully written. I can't wait to see what Rae and Louis life holds for them. I am also very greatful for the nurses at the children's hospitals as well, so much so that I am going to become a CNA then nurse for the pediatric unit at our local children's hospital as well :)...

Thank you for saying that. I wanted to keep it as real as possible. You'll find in later chapters that this story got extremely real for me, as I basically lived in a children's hospital for two and 1/2 months rotating every other day. I'm so glad you're able to relate to Rae, hearing that is like acheiving a personal goal.

Absolutely I'm on chapter 9 now. The part about the picu really hit home. When my daughter was born at 2lbs we weren't sure she was gonna make it so we sppent loads of sleepless nights in the picu... the story is amazingly written though. My mom passed from cancer and you capture the feelings of the characters very well... Rae is like me in some ways

This is amazing writing so far. The story line is very original, sad, and funny I assume at times. I'm only on the first chjaoter but I love it already
