What is Tumblr and should I get for 1DFF reasons?

Hi fellow 1DFF members and lovers! I have a question and this maybe silly, but what is Tumblr? Should I get it and is it really good for blogging such things for fanfictions? I strictly only want to use it for my stories and important updates and being able to express my personality through my blogging. So please, if anyone has a Tumblr, should I get one and why? :)

Your question is not silly! Tumblr is a place a bit like Facebook to say the most. Most girls use it for fan fictions. If you do not know, I believe this is where Dark first appeared. I made one, but I don't really go on it. I have a Tumblr, and if you get one please follow me. I'm justanotherdedicateddirectioner. Also, yes. If you do get one, it is a great place to get to know people and just, as you want to do, express yourself. I always see very funny One Direction memes on there, but if you don't want to explore, Tumblr is a great way to get publicity to your fanfic! If you do get one, please ask me any questions you have here, because I do not go on Tumblr very often. Hope this helped!
