I'm at a Crossroads (no relation to the super cool fanfic)

So I've been working on a fantasy fanfiction, which is quite new for me. I didn't want to do vampires or werewolves, because that's already a thing, so I kind of made up my own creature. I'm personally in love with the concept of it, but I'm not sure if other people will be. If someone could just take a second to hear my insane idea and tell me if it's horrendous or not that would be fantastic!
