New Website for Fanfics??

So...I've been thinking lately...

This website is way out of date.

I've been on this website for nearly two years now (new account cuz stupid Google), and it hasn't been updated since BEFORE I joined. I was wondering if I made a new site...would any of you join??

Now, the site won't be something super fancy (the domain will say tumblr or weebly or some shit) because I'm just going to use an app to make it (go Taylor your so smart) but I'll look into coding to improve the site once it's up and running?

So, any thoughts, questions, comments, concerns?

I agree with @rocker_babe. Although a new site would be pretty cool, I've had some good times on this site and I'm not ready to throw it away quite yet.

I'm new to this site, but I like it here. Everyone seems so friendly here. The last time I was on a site for fanfics was about 4 years ago, when Twilight was the big thing. I hated the format of it though. I used to have a forum over on InvisionFree but when Facebook and Twitter came out and everyone started going there I eventually shut it down, but I had fanfics on there as well as general chat. I like it over here though and don't want to leave just yet.

There is other One Direction fanfic sites, 1DFF.com is one, which has it's separate forum. There is also Mibba.com (you can make your own story layouts and stuff), which is also the mother-site of this site.

I agree with all of you guys. My original thought was to think of ways to get the site to come alive (there were so many awesome people like you guys) then everyone started complaining then left. But I like all of your guys' reasoning, though.

If it makes you feel better, there are lots of sites just like this one that are geared towards other bands (of other genres) that haven't been updated :D the homepage picture on the Black Veil Brides site is so fetus (just like it is here) that Andy Biersack still has long hair and the band is still wearing their war paint. It's just a matter of finding the right people on them to associate with :P
