Hi everyone, I've been a member of this site for just a few hours and I'm looking for just a little help understanding and navigating my way through everything. My question is about votes. What does it mean when someone votes on one of your stories? Is this bad or good? Also if I open a story and want to leave a vote how can I do this? I've opened a few stories and saw where you can leave a rating, but not a vote. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

A rating is exactly what a vote is, if someone votes on your story it can mean it is bad or good depending on the rating. Sorry if this is incorrect! ouo

Personally, I don't know what votes are so they mean nothing to me. If anything, they say "hellz yeah! This is cool." I guess O.o I think they act LIKE ratings, but with votes it's either yes, this is good, or no, this is not good. Where the rating is more like "eh, this is good buuuut....so 9/10."

Personally, I like views and comments more than votes and ratings :D and if I do get ratings, I like stuff that's not a perfect 10 because that tells me someone rated it honestly :3
