Just Wondering...

Is it weird that it's past midnight and I'm scrolling through my ex's instagram photos while lying in my boyfriend's clothes?

I feel like I'm in some weird past/present twilight zone damnit...And slightly unfaithful (even though I'm not doing anything wrong). Looks like it's goodbye for now insta ;)

No. Not at all. You're probably just in the mood for some kind of comfort and doing these things makes you feel somewhat more relaxed or at peace.

You're not being unfaithful - you're being human. Feelings and emotions aren't simple things to explain.

Oh good! Lol For a second there my brain panicked. I was smelling my boyfriend's cologne on his tee (doubling as s nightgown ;)) while staring at a pic of my ex and flipped out haha trippy stuff....

My emotions will probably be the death of me haha

On the flip side of that whole thing-your ex is an ex for a reason.... I wouldn't do it. Personally after a break up, that person is dead to me. Sure I've hung out with some a few times but I don't look them up. Plus the boyfriend I've had now (who's been here over a year and a half, sort of an accomplishment for me) would absolutely flip shit on me if he ever caught me doing that. I'd take a moment and imagine how your boy toy would feel if he saw this >.>

Yeah. :( And my boyfriend is pretty serious about it all :/ idk sometimes I do stupid stuff (like worry about my ex), does thst mean that I wasn't ready to move on to a new relationship?

Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I find myself checking up on an ex at times, usually during the time we were together. But I mean -- it doesn't mean I want to get back with him, it just means I'm being nostalgic. But if you're confused you probably shouldn't be doing it. I always say "Would my boyfriend be upset if he knew I was doing this?" If the answer is yes, I don't do it lol.

Rebounding is the worst. Only time will tell though, shitty as it is.
