split or extended leave?

So I read an article on one direction and their "last ever concert" and I don't know if it's just me, but the writer has just really bloody pissed me off. I didn't even finish the whole article but the way it is worded constantly sounds like a dig at the fans, as if the fans are over emotional, also supplying several pictures of sobbing fans. Don't worry, there are also PLENTY jabs at the band too!

I admit, the way I read it might have made them seem more sarcastic and obnoxious than they probably intended, but can someone please at least tell me I'm not delusional?

That's not even an article lol that's easily the stupidest thing I've ever read and I don't even like 1D

But as someone who doesn't like them, when I first came over here I expected the sobbing and the fan girls and dumb directioners. I've met maaaaaybe one. Lol everyone outside the fandom is so biased and I learned I was one of those biased dick heads. I'm more annoyed by the fans of bands I ACTUALLY like than directioners (at least the ones here, you guys are rational, but then again the Internet only shows anyone extremist shit). This person just hasn't talked to anyone in the fandom. Talk to the Black Veil Brides kids-one of my friends is 22 and one of them and I have to stop talking to her after like 30 minutes because talking about Andy Biersack's cheekbones is even older than referring to Harry's "emerald orbs" ;P your average BVB fan is more obnoxious than the directioner stereotype.

Anyway this article's dumb as Hell. Disregard it. It's not even informational. Don't let it bother you :P

haha, you're right. I think every fandom has it's stereotypes but some people take it a bit too far when writing about it, especially when they have no idea what they're talking about.

sure, some of One Direction fans are a bit passionate but for a writer to go to a concert with the intentions to basically psycho analyse the people there and take pictures of them too, that's so irritating

And I know passionate. Omifuck I had to stop listening to Sleeping With Sirens after I saw them at Warped Tour because of their fan girls. A girl in the pit next to me started squealing "ITS LIKE KELLIN QUINN IS SONGING TO ME!" And I just couldn't help it. I let it out. I looked at her and said "that's because he is. Because that's HIS JOB. HE IS A SINGER. HES SINGING TO THE WHOLE FREAKING AUDIENCE."

Im fun at concerts I promise lol. As long as I'm not stuck next to the drunk guys trying to mosh or the girl squealing and sobbing.
