Vampire Stories?
i honestly just started one before i even read that you were on the search for one. i can't say that my writing is great; i'm very new to the whole fiction concept but it's called virtuous if you wanna give it a go.

I have one on here but it's not 1D related. It's something I brought over from bringmethehorizon when I thought it was going to shut down. Buuuut it's an AU and any related musicians who aren't in the character bio page I add gifs for at the end of the chapters they're introduced in :D it's called Love Bites

I checked out who they were and they're another British band. Sounds interesting. I might check it out. Going through a True Blood phase I need my vamp fix. x)

I haven't heard of them until now. They remind me of My Chemical Romance, are they pure rock or do they have punk in their tunes?

Bring Me the Horizon? At this point I'd consider them hard rock but they started as post hardcore. The first song I heard them play live was Diamonds Aren't Forever which has the typical screaming and Oliver thrashing like a monkey. But Drown and True Friends are much truer to rock (alternative in terms of Drown) and Antivist and Deathbeds are sort of a middle ground between their hardcore days and their current rock sound.
The Brides are and have always been rock (for one thing screamo is not a genre and second they were never post hardcore). I think their newer shit like Coffin and Goodbye Agony are shit since they sound repetitive but their older stuff like Morticians Daughter (so many fan girls like that one) and Rebel Love Song are great. They're also very anti-bullying and labelling though in that case id prefer Motionless in White.
Post hardcore bands and their ties to hard rock is a topic I could talk about for days :3 so sorry if I babble

According to their main page (official and wiki) it says they're rock but there are so many styles these days. To me they have an alternative flair to them, it is hard but it's still pretty rad. I really dig Sex Pistols and Dead Presidents and the like, of course in the 90s Green Day and Stone Temple Pilots, Fastball, bands like those are so rare. Political rock is cool to get into, Green Day managed to do it with AI, then in the 80s there was college rock like REM and lower level crazy tunes that didn't even make it to radio.
Bands like Nickelback and Stained have sold out the merit of what rock used to mean. I'm constantly searching for something really off the wall. But I still dig the undergrounds scene in terms of where the artistic stuff is. Radio refuses to play them though, I can't wrap my head around that. I bet most people have never heard of Alex Band, he used to be in a pop/rock band in the late 90s early 00s, now he's solo and does incredibly sick pure rock indie that I wish radio acknowledged more.
Hardcore was something that I could get into but I could never fully embrace since the punk and grunge scenes were just too strong in socal in the 90s. I warmed up to it over the years though. I have respect for it. lol Yeah we could go on and on I'm sure...
Anybody know any really well-written ones on here? It could be about any boy, doesn't matter.
