Why are dolls scary?

I plan on getting back to my story Collections here either tomorrow or Tuesday (it only has one chapter up). I've been slacking but I love the events I have planned in my head.

Basically Harry and Liam own a toy company that makes gothic death dolls (dolls inspired by tragic deaths like hangings, drownings, car wrecks, etc.). But as a fan and collector of dolls myself I don't know why people find them scary? I want to write about them being creepy (as they should be if they come with open rib cages and ripped throats) but I personally love them and have no problem with them so it's hard for me .-.

Why do people find porcelain dolls scary?

Well, I find dolls in general to be scary because of her>> Annabelle was not a scary movie, but stars a creepy ass doll. Am I right? By the way, love the story idea. Sounds very creepy but interesting.

Real-Life-Annabelle really isn't that scary :P she was just one of those big Raggedy Anne dolls. But if I ran into a doll like that one they used in the movie at an antique store, I might be little concerned lol and while I liked Annabelle, the Conjuring was better ;O

Yeah, the Conjuring was way better.

Dolls aren't scary. People watch films like Annabelle or Chucky and automatically think that every doll is out to get them

But even then they're not scary lol and my grandma has a doll we call Chucky. She's 86 and when she dies that's one of the things I'll inherit since I'm the only person who likes her. She's had Chucky forever and growing up in the 60s and 70s my aunt and uncle were even terrified of her O.o I think she's pretty though :3 she has big blonde curls with blue eyes and a little blue dress with Mary Janes

I have a doll like that, but with brown curls. I freaking LOVE dolls, I've got three glass cabinets with dolls in and people get freaked when they walk in my room, it makes me laugh so much.

I've packed most of mine away but all of my foreign ones I keep out in my room. I don't really think my boyfriend likes them as much as me though >.> but that's his problem :D

Dolls of any sort scare the shit out of me.
