Any Good? (Pre-Sequel)

Hey guys, as you know I wrote the cross country series with a few people and I thought a few nights ago, why don't I write a pre-sequel thing about Harry and how he became to be the 5th most wanted person in the UK.

So, I wanted to put in how his obsession started, who he killed, adding description which leads on to the first book.

I would love if people commented and gave me a few ideas to how I can bring this to life!!

Thank you beautiful people!

Okay what did you have in mind?
Because to be completely honest with you, I think the stories are perfect just the way they are. (Should I mention that I was subscribed to He's Waiting and feel like an idiot as to why I couldn't find it haha), and adding anything extra - especially a prequel might take away from the awesome work you two have written.

@theodoramae.
I agree. The stories are really good on their own. Adding a prequel could be a bit too much. It's up to you. Just my thoughts. But just make sure everything connects well, too. Like the prequel should fit like a puzzle piece right back to the first story.

You're welcome!

Okay; so this took me forever to reply to because I was too busy being sucked into reading Cross Country again, but agreeing with what the peeps have said above - I'd stick to writing something completely new rather than a prequel for what's already been written. I think not only would it take away from everything that has already been published but it might also start to make yourself second guess the quality of work you've produced. Don't take this the wrong way please - I've just noticed most people who go back and write prequels or even who go back to touch up and mend little things in previous chapters usually end up deleting everything and trying to start a new.

ps: sorry for the paragraph rant.
