When musicians do nice things
I know that a Taylor Swift fan was going to her concert but got hit by a car. Taylor heard about this and flew them over to where she was playing next and gave her backstage passes and they even got to spend some time together just the two of them.
Lately there's been a lot of negative stuff about a lot of bands/artists (and there always will be because that's how media goes) so I thought it'd be kind of cool to exchange Good-Guy-Greg stories about them, like nice things you've seen them do or heard about them doing.
Like, one of the sweetest things I've ever seen was at my last concert (Slash and Aerosmith). A-smith played their song Livin' On the Edge when their frontman, Steven Tyler, noticed this little old lady down in the audience. She was crippled and probably pushing 90 but Steven walked over to the side of the stage she was on (instead of prancing down the catwalk like he always does) and held his mic stand out to her, base in his hand so the mic was by her. And not even kidding, he let her sing the ENTIRE song and this woman just absolutely lit up. She was sooo excited to be like, legit singing FOR the band, and Steven had this big grin on his face like making her night was making his night and when the song was finished he had security give her backstage passes. Lol, just thinking about it makes me wanna cry, it was magic.
Sooo I dunno if anyone else has any that's-really-cool-of-you-dude stories but I thought it would be nice to start a post and talk about something other than the bad stuff. And I have a while bunch of these lol from Warped Tour and local bands to ones like Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie
