Tattoo

Hello all.

I am thinking about getting a tattoo soon. I was thinking about getting some words / lyrics written onto my back which have a powerful meaning to them.

I would love to incorporate 1D into somehow.

What's everyones favourite 1D lyrics ?

As someone who is covered in tattoos please, please, please think this over and through very carefully. It's something you're essentially stuck with for a lifetime. I've also got a fair few lyrics on me and the one's I've chosen are due to them reminding me either about certain people or a certain time in my life.

Either way - onto the more fun stuff. If I was to get a 1D lyrical tattoo it would probably be:
"I don't have to keep imagining" or "Drifting (one one arm and) Weightless (on the other)"

I already have one tattoo of a cat. I nearly lost my cat (Aged 6) a while ago but luckily enough he survived surgery and pulled through. The tattoo is a reminder of my love for him.

I wanted something else, like lyrics, that mean something to represent me / my life

All my life, other people have had opinions on how i am living my life and what they think i should be doing instead.

For example : Married to young, go on to many holidays, too old for boybands, should be saving for a family in the future and not going to concerts etc

So i wanted something like : Live the life you love, love the life you need

What do you think ?

Oh you sound like me. I keep getting told to set myself up rather than see the world and enjoy living. Gosh forbid if anyone told me I was too old for music. I'd go postal on them. People need to learn to keep opinions to themselves rather than tell me when I don't care. Anyway... back on topic.

I really like what you've thought off. It totally relates to what you've just said as well.

I am always being told that i should be saving up for when i have a family.

Family and friends can't understand why i want to travel the world, go on hol, go to concerts etc. They think i should have a family and get a mortage.

The most valuable thing money can he spent on is happiness and knowledge and unfortunately you get those from travel and experiences. Ugh, we sound so alike...

Its like: "When you have a kid you cant go to gigs anymore" and I'm all, "What the hell makes you think I want a kid?"

Broke a fair few family ties when I told people I was going to Vietnam and Cambodia to teach as a college thing. So many people hit the roof.

I can't wait to receive that pm now. Super excited about ink.

i love the idea of a tattoo that means something too you and has relevance to something you enjoy.

I have always loved the idea of having tattoos on me, but i know when enough is enough, and not to go overboard with them.

I want something that is important and meaningful to me.

Thank you for your sweet message.

All of my family and friends have settled down and have children of their own. I have seen how they have to sacrifice the things they love and i am not ready to do that just yet.

Both my husband and myself love the idea of waking up and just going anywhere we want for the day, without having to worry about children, feeding times, nappies and school times etc.

We both enjoy going to concerts, esp me though. I couldn't imagine not going to any once i have children.

I have tried to add a pic of the tattoo i want.

With regards to the tattoo above which i like, i feel it really does represent me and my lifestyle.

I am living the life i like and i am loving it.

I didn't see myself getting a tattoo at all but after the incident with my cat and his surgery, i wanted something to remember him by.

Now i am addicted to ink. Lol

Tell me about it. I got my wrists done, then a word on my ribs, how I have two half sleeves (oone not finished), my lower leg and I still want more. Ughhhhh... if only they didnt cost so much :(
