He's easiest to write on/about and can be the most flexible when it comes to character. It might sound dumb, but the other boys from everything I've read seem very direct and characterized while he's a little more free.

I think sometimes it is for popularity purposes by far on just about any one direction fanfiction site I've been on the most popular stories are the Harry ones so I think people see that and automatically add him as the romantic I
