SUPER PISSED OFF!

So I have another account on here I can't log into - either way, I just found that someone has posted a whole lot of my old stories that I wrote over a year ago on here and wattpad and is trying to take credit for them. I only have screen shots of my old work and a few saved word doc files - but should I say something, or not bother with the hassle?

It's really sad that people can't think of their own ideas and instead need to rip off other peoples work.

You definitely should say something! Apart from the fact that it's your work and your time that was spent working on these stories. But this person can't think it's okay to steal other people's stories and that they can get away with it.
Post their name, comment on their stories and most definitely report them! Maybe even post screen shots of your old work so people know that you are telling the truth and no one can deny it!
So sorry that this has happened to you. It's always been a major fear of mine that something like this happens and you never find out!

I'm glad someone has said this. I've tried messaging the person, but they just aren't replying and I'd rather work this out civilly than creating drama :(

Yeah I understand not wanting to create drama, especially because, publicly, these things tend to lean towards other people starting to begin hate messages and bullying in general. But they probably won't reply because they obviously have no proof to defend themselves against you. I know that the moderators are horrible for this sight and won't respond (more then likely) if you complain about plagiarism but what is the Wattpad people like? They might respond way better.
But eventually for the sake of your work and to stop this person from doing something like this again it might be best just to make this public!

I'd go through the effort. There is a such thing as Intellectual Property rights and it is just wrong. The moderators won't go through with it on this site but I'd take it up with the author and if that doesn't work make it a bit more public

Yea they should have something on this website that alert's you if someone else has taken your stories because then there would be less people stealing them you know what I call those kind of people....Bitches and Assholes that pisses me off too your not alone.

If you send me their name I can try to contact them as a 'fan' and see if they answer ? It is upsetting that through everything you've gone through people still steal your stories, knowing that it isn't their work.
