PREEEAAACCCHHH! YASSSS! I agree so hard! After gives a MAJOR bad name to fan fiction. If it does get published and put into a movie, everyone is going to think that all fan fiction is like that! I don't want fan fiction's image, something that means SO much to me, damaged by this bullshit. All Anna Todd cares about is money and fame. You're right, she's not a true fan. A true fan wouldn't slander against the boys.

Okay I haven't read the whole post because I am not that interested in reading it all ( sorry i'm being completely honest ) I did skim through it though, and yes I do support you in the fact that Anna should not be publishing a book that is based completely off fans. We believed that 'Anna' who we thought was a teenager at first was a fan. Which she really isn't She is married, and i believe has kids. That is not the point though. Regardless of the fact that After characters are based off of one direction, the story drabs on. Yes, it is a great book, but it can get a bit boring at times. BUT what you must understand is when writing fiction ( like my stories, or your stories, and even After ) you must always understand that the story is FICTION. whether you portray the boys as the way they are or portray them as someone totally not them IT IS FICTION. which means i could write harry as a cynical being who murders children for a living, and there is nothing you could do or say about it because it is A) fiction and b) not your story. The media will obviously know the story isn't based off of the real Harry Styles, and he is simply a figment for girls to think of when they read the book.
My stories for example are all my own, and I use the boys as a image girls can see when thinking of the characters or protagonist in my story. It does not mean that I in any way think that is what the actual actor or person does in real life.
Lastly, as it was the only other thing that caught my attention was the whole (abusive relationship thing) AGAIN FICTION. if you do not like the story why read it ? BUT that is not my point. Yes Harry and Tessas relationship is very rocky but that in no way makes it an abusive relationship. ALSO the fact that you mentioned 'Christian Gray' (which is Grey* not Gray) in this is in no way relevant. Grey was a masochist who found pleasure in pain, but in sexual pain. A pain that others enjoy too. He never once overstepped his line, and made sure that everything he did was agreed upon. (Being a person who finds nothing wrong in BDSM, and knows it's extents) You cannot cry RAPE or ABUSE because you do not find the act pleasing or in any way attractive. There are many relationships that are like so. (Major drama, and maybe loads of BDSM ) Some girls want doms (a dom is a dominant ) some gals don't, and some gals want to be the dom. AND yes i understand what Harry in after did was bad at times, there are plenty of girls who would oversee it if she really liked that person. Maybe if you were Tessa, and you didn't accept it the story would end differently but this is her Tessa, and although I am completely against the fact thats she publishing it, and making it into a movie. I do believe that fiction is fiction, and you cannot blame a author for writing something that you do not agree with.

You go gurl I hear you I mean people already are calling him a womanizer and I hate that because it's like they are not letting him show his true side and if they would let him they would see how charming he is and see how he is no where near what they say about him I want to punch whoever says that about him I would give anything to meet someone like him
@dontjockmystyles Their relationship is abusive. I have talked to several people who major in Psychology and they have all told me that 'Hessa' is abusive. There are numerous amounts of proof. And if you took the time to look at the characteristics of an abusive relationship, it fits to After like a puzzle.
- He manipulated her with the lease with the apartment.
- Manipulated her at the lake
- He has degraded her, such as calling her a 'prude' and other derogatory names.
- Harry has humiliated her.
- Harry literally controls her and blames her at times.
- At the party when she was in the bathroom crying, he barged in and grabbed her wrist forcefully, enough to give her a bruise.
- He also slammed her against the wall after meeting his parents.
- Females who had experienced dating abuse have increased depression and are 1.5 times more likely to binge drink or smoke as likely to have suicidal thoughts.
Males on the other hand:
- Anti-Social behaviours.
- 1.3 times more likely to use Marijuana and twice as likely to have suicidal thoughts.
And yes, people are already looking at Harry differently with how he is portrayed in After. A number of people have admitted they couldn't look at Harry the same way again. So yes, this will affect him greatly. It doesn't matter if it's a story, stories can have an impact on how people think.
Yes! After is also most abusive story I've ever read fanfic or not! At least other punks Harry isn't abusive and he is truly sweet on the inside just protective but After is down right degrading to Harry. Plus Anna is a total fraud. Everyone is like 'Oh After so great!" And blah blah and Then they go on other peoples Fanfics and say it's just like After and frankly that's bullshit.
How in the hell does she still have readers and fans after everything people have found out. Plus real Directioners not you fake as Directionators or what ever they call themselves. I swear if you are a fan of After you aren't a real fan.
I'm glad I finally found people who agree with me and don't hate me because I think After is degrading and wrong.

I wouldn't say that you're not a true Directioner just because you like After. Personally, I liked the story, and I thought it was a good read. However, I don't think that it should be published into an actual book since it is definitely degrading to all the boys, and Harry especially. It portrays them all as lowlife frat boys who only party and do drugs and have sex with girls. I just think it's better off to stay on Wattpad...that's where it belongs.
it's a book for pete sake. Secondly half of the points you wrote out 95% of every teenage girl or boy has done. Majority of all the guys I know are exactly how the author portrays Harry, and just because you're a fan like all of us does not mean that you know Harry or any of the boys. How they act with friends, and family or even sexually will always remain unknown because none of us know them on that level. 99% of all teenagers drink underage and smoke. I've been smoking and drinking since the 9th grade so the story isn't just some made up shit. To be completely honest if you read over the whole useless paragraph you just wrote. EVERY SINGLE POINT is what every normal teenager does. BUT go ahead go sulk over a story. It won't get us anywhere. The only thing we should be concerned about is if One Direction decides to renew their contract because as of right now sweetie OTRA is their last tour.
I know a lot about the boys that 90% of fans haven't even heard of so don't start with the whole the boys are innocent because there are hundreds of girls who can prove you wrong. I just feel like this whole after rant is fucking bullshit as the author already published it. It's a honor to have your story published, and recorded so no. I give her credit for everything she's done, and how far she's come. Regardless of how much you hate the story she still published it.

I know I'm going to get hate once I say this but I'm getting tired of After and Anna getting away with everything! If you ask me, it doesn't deserve to get published and put into a movie. I know it's just a 'fanfic' but still, it's going to ruin Harry's image along with Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Louis'. In all 3 After books, Harry abuses Tessa and he even made her have sex with him when she was on her period, like that is disgusting and people who read it call it 'love' but abuse and rape isn't LOVE! But it disgusts me even more that they want a relationship like Hessa. So you actually want a man to abuse you sexually, emotionally, and violently? Now that is pathetic. You should want a relationship with someone that wouldn't lay a hand on you like that. Harry in real life wouldn't even fucking hit a girl he loves or any girl that he knows because he was raised right! Anne (Des too) raised him to be a gentleman but if After ends up getting published, the media is just going to continue to write about him being "the next Christian Gray", a 'womanizer', and all that shit they give him all they time. It's so unfair how the media treats him like that! They never wrote about when he helped fans who got trampled on the side walks when he's visiting in the cities, or when he spent over a 50 grand on pizza to give to the homeless people on the streets in LA. The only positive thing I saw written about him was when he gave fans cupcakes and when the boys went to Africa for Red Nose Day and he cried when he saw the sick children. I have so many reasons why After shouldn't be published and made into a movie but I'm only giving 7.
1. Anna portrayed Harry's sweet mother, Anne as a lying whore when she's clearly the nicest and most beautiful person ever! The media could write shit about her too because she's Harry's mother. I may not know Anne personally but just by looking at her, I can tell she's a happy and caring person.
2. Anna catfished her 'fans' saying she's 18 years old and a college student at UCLA majoring in neuroscience but just recently, she admitted that she's 25 years old and married and that's illegal to lie about your identity in Texas and that's where she's from but sadly, no one gives a shit about it (except for the people who are against After) and they're letting her get away with it.
3. She's illegally selling a jewelry line for her fucking book with Harry's name on it along with quotes that are NOT hers.
4. She's not a One Direction fan. If she was, she wouldn't have made Harry into some monster that hurts women and makes bets with them. I (including everyone else) care about Harry more than anything and I would NEVER make Harry's character like that. That's why I always make him like the person he is in real life.
5. Supposedly her name 'Anna Todd' isn't her real name. I don't care if it's a penname and Dr. Seuss did the same but he was a real AUTHOR. Anna isn't.
6. She said no one is going to know it's about Harry but her username on Wattpad is on the fucking cover of the published version of After and it's easy to look it up on the internet and the first result will be about 1D. And she said she's changing Harry's name to 'Hardin' in the story. Yeah well done. Sarcasm.
Disagree with me all you want but this is true FACTS! Look at the suspendannatodd tag on Twitter, all what I just said is in there. Anna is a fake. If she were a true fan, she wouldn't make a fanfic and would want it published and made into a movie. She just wrote it because obviously she wants to frame Harry. He may ignore all that but still deep down, I'm sure he feels really hurt when they're spreading untrue shit about him. Harry is a humble, caring, sweet, sensitive, generous, funny, adorable, and most down to earth person ever. No other celeb I know of is like him. He's a true gentleman. He treats everyone with RESPECT, including women. He said he never calls 'dibs' when he see's an attractive woman because he thinks it objectifies them. Remember when the paps called him a 'sex symbol' & a 'womanizer' and he broke down in tears? Yeah, that broke my heart to see him like that and if After gets published and made into a movie and the media writes untrue facts about him, he's going to get upset and I don't want to see him like that again!
7. Another thing I found was, Anna was friends with a girl named Walrusharry on Wattpad but then one day Anna got jealous of her and stole her story. Then, Anna lied to her readers that Walrusharry stole her ideas and she let all her Afternators send hate to poor girl, which made her start cutting herself again. Walrusharry deleted her Wattpad from all the hate she was getting and said on Tumblr what happened and then she disappeared. I reported After on Wattpad for plagiarism but they won't remove After until I get Walrusharry to send her copy along with Anna's to the website. If anyone who has a Wattpad and was friends with Walrusharry on there but know where she is now, PLEASE TELL ME!
One more thing. A 26 year old man, who is supposedly Anna's 'friend' is harassing teenagers on Twitter if he see's them rant about After and he's even complaining about it on this stupid book he's making on his Wattpad account called "Haters are going to hate" and he's blaming the girls for harassing him but he harassed them first. And guess what, Anna isn't doing anything to stop him because obviously she doesn't care! Her fans say that she's "against bullying" just because she's in a anti-bullying foundation but she never does ANYTHING when her own fans bully people who don't like her books. She never stops her fans or her fans from harassing others that don't like her story and it's disgusting. I even reported his book but Wattpad won't remove it because they 'need more specific reasons' like what else do they want me to give? All he's doing is ranting about how 1D fans are 'harassing' him and stalking their Twitters so he can complain and write about them. He even gives away their Twitters so he can let people, that aren't against After, harass them. Like really?
I just want to put an end to this story because Anna did tons of illegal things but she's getting paid. It's so unfair! I know my story is a little bit like Dark so that's why I'm not going to get it published and made into a movie. And I also don't want to ruin Harry's rep like Anna's doing. All she wants is money. She's even shortening After 3 and making A FUCKING 4th book! Thirsty much Anna? Obviously you are because tons of authors make their stories longer than the other stories in their series, like J.K. Rowling. Making a long books in her Harry Potter series didn't stop her.
I don't care if you all don't agree with me, I'm just stating my opinion. No one on Twitter believes the Anti After pages and sends hate to us because they don't understand that Anna is liar, illegal and wants to frame Harry. She doesn't give a shit about 1D! If she did, she wouldn't have wanted After to be published. She would have wanted to keep it as a fanfic. I love all 5 of them but Harry will always be my baby. I love him so much and I would hate to see him upset if he see's a fanfic framing him. Judge me all you want and tell me it's 'just a fanfic', 'she stole things from the other's the correct way (THERE'S NO CORRECT WAY TO STEAL THINGS! Once you plagiarize someone else's work and try to get it published, she should be sued! But I just don't know how she's getting away with it) or 'she's changing the names' but I'm just stating my opinion. If you're a true fan you wouldn't take Anna's side. I'm a true fan and want to protect Harry. Okay, I'm done ranting. Bye
