Inspiration Please!

Hey guys so I have an assignment coming up and I need help! I have to make up a writing exercise so I'm asking all you lovely people to post up what you find the hardest part of writing? Could be anything like grammar, description, etc! I would love you all endlessly for commenting on this!

Staying consistent in tense (like 1st person/3rd person etc). Could be because English isnt my first language though.

I would say description as it is hard to depict things well without sounding too over dramatic. Sometime writers don't have enough or have too much.

Yeah I was thinking description would definitely be a common problem! Even published writers have trouble with descriptions. Thanks for your comment love! :)

I sometimes find it difficult to not use 'I' every sentence some times. Also if you check out my story, Reviews With The Reader, then you could see what most people struggle with the most. I find most mistakes that have to do with grammar and difficulty following a plot line. Hoped this helped!

The hardest thing I believe for anyone is staying focused and sticking with the original plotline. We want to fix everything and try and make it perfect, that we switch our stories half way through, confusing everyone. When that happens, people tend to give up and not fix the mistake they made.

Also, like the comment above me, not starting every sentence with the same word, or overusing specific words too much, sometimes we forget that there is a thesaurus out there for us to use, but here we are still using the same word over and over again.

Haha I major in Writing at University so most of my assignment all have to with writing except my English Literature courses! They are the best type of courses because I am normally able to write whatever I want for the assignment, they allow you to choose genre and style, etc.
