"After!"

There is a fanfic on Wattpad that a girl wrote and it's going to be a movie! It's called "After." Harry Styles will most likely be starring in it! When it's out I want to see it!

The overall message I want to put out there is that anything can happen. Don't stop writing because maybe your story will be turned into a movie like that lucky Directioner on Wattpad! Don't give up(;

Harry won't be starring in it lol. She has to change the names and everything, or else she'll get sued. It's not an original story, and it doesn't have original made up characters. Plus, it won't be a movie in regular theater's. It'll be playing in indie movie theater's which are located in certain city spots.

That isnt true. She uses the One Direction members as face claims and nothing more. Tessa, Molly, Ken, etc are all orginal charcters and really so is Harry. She hasnt based it off of Harry's real life at all. And quite frankly, being played in an Indie movie theatre is better than nothing.

I mean, she has to change the names. Niall Zayn Liam Louis. All of these last names need to be taken out. Any slight reference towards the boys WILL get her sued. Secondly, it doesn't matter if it's based off of his real life of not, it's using his name. Every fan fiction is using the boys as a facade (Stating the freaking obvious ) And to be completely honest, it's quite weird knowing that there's a fan fiction based on you, and the band being produced. Proud of her work, and how far she's come. But accepting a movie. . . that's a widdle bit over board. I would want the acceptance of the boys before taking the deal.

@sjbudowski

@sjbudowski, @dontjockmystyles is right! a professional piece of work once solicited can't use the boys names because permission hasn't been given for the context they are being used in. It would be different if she wrote a newspaper article on them but a story requires 'fictional' characters with no name or face claims. In saying that once a 'character' has been made as well, they no longer become available for use with another other writer.

To make things simple; think of the boys as their own version of copy-right. They can't be re-created.
