promote your story

I was wondering if the more popular story writers would help me promote my story without sex.

Well I'm not very popular, but I have like 1500 almost. What do you mean by promote? Like what do you want to do?

I think if it's a really good story you don't need help. My first story got 'popular' half way through and I didn't do a sex scene until one of the last chapters. Let your story and writing speaking for itself.

I agree with the poster above. There's no point trying to promote your work through other peoples stories because people will only read it if it's of interest to them. Plus, if you're getting views through other people - whats the point? You haven't worked hard or creatively for them. It's just an easy cop out.

Hello(: I am the author of "HALF A HEART" and it got to the 1st page of the popular section and i have yet to write a sex scene. And im not going to. Well I think that a little help in general would never hurt. How are people supposed to notice a story otherwise?
Yes, you can try to get people to rate your story but too many people are already doing that. I, for one, have no idea to gain readers on here, if it wasn't for other websites were I post I would probably not update regularly. It takes quite some time to write a 6k long chapter, only getting a few reviews can be disappointing.
